If you live in Delta County, Colorado you may be able to take advantage of a AARP course that could offer you discounts on your auto insurance policy. The course is offered in January and could benefit many drivers ages 55 or older.

About the AARP Course

The course is called “55 Alive” and is an AARP driver’s safety course designed to update driving skills for those nearing retirement age. The hope is that those taking the course will be able to maintain their driving mobility now and for years to come.

For those living in the area, they can sign up at the Bill Heddles Recreation Center in Delta County. The class will be held on Jan. 18 and 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The cost for AARP members will be $12 and the cost for non-members will be $14.

Also, you can pre-register by Jan. 15 at the Bill Heddles Recreation Center.
