Arizona’s Supreme Court has recently approved the IMPROV Traffic School, an interactive and fun traffic school for state motorists. Originally getting its start in Los Angeles in the 80s, it is now broadening its horizon. First stop? Arizona.
In the early 1980s, Gary Alexander decided to partner with the famous Improv Comedy Club to create a unique traffic school along with some defensive driving programs for Los Angeles motorists. The idea was to make the process fun to help more people learn effectively.
Initially, the class was only held in the classroom, but now it is also available online. By passing the class, students may be able to take advantage of ticket dismissal or auto insurance discounts. Also, those who have been required by the courts to take defensive driving classes could do so through IMPROV online.
If you live in Arizona and are eligible, you may be able to take the IMPROV online defensive driving course, which could result in you having your moving violations dismissed by your issuing court. The online course consists of 10 simple modules that are both comedic and serious.
After you’ve completed the 10 modules feature in the course, you take a simple quiz that covers the course materials. If you pass the quiz, you will receive a certificate of completion that can be submitted to the court.
