A recent poll conducted by Mintel Comperemedia found that a high percentage of policyholders are very pleased with their auto insurance companies. According to the information tracking company, the auto insurance companies must be doing something right to be able to maintain positive customer satisfaction.
Here are some results from the survey:
According the Mintel, these numbers show that a large majority of customers are happy with the service and/or prices they receive from their current auto insurance company. This may partially be the reason that the study also found that of the respondents surveyed, 62 percent only comparison shop once a year or less. Another 29 percent surveyed said that they don’t comparison shop at all.
Of course, no matter how happy you are with your coverage, it’s a good idea to comparison shop just to see what rates and services are available that may top your current provider. Also, you can check for updates with your current provider to make sure there are no discounts that you can be taking advantage of for being a long-time customer.
Being satisfied with your auto insurance provider is a great thing. However, it’s good to make sure that you’re not missing out on other great options available to you.
i’m super happy with my insurance. i’ve had them probably since i was 16 (i’m 32 now), and my family has always had me on the family plan. i pay about $600 a year now through 21st century bc of “good driver” status.
