President Obama has proposed a $634 billion plan to provide health care coverage to all Americans; however, as a result, individuals in the upper-income tax bracket may have to bear some of the brunt in tax hikes. The proposal also looks to cut government health spending, and if successful, should pay for health care reform over the next 10 years.

It’s important to stay on top of your health, and be as proactive in taking care of yourself as much as possible. Apart from eating the right foods and staying physically fit, one thing you can do to maintain your health has nothing to do with your actual body, and everything to do with paperwork. The National Committee for Quality Assurance, or NCQA, is an independent, non-profit agency dedicated to improving the quality of health care. They have report cards on various health insurance provider plans and provide ratings for a wide number of plans.
