The American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) shows that Americans were satisfied with life insurance in the fourth quarter of 2009. According to the index, life insurance satisfaction not only improved overall, but specific life insurers also received increases in satisfaction.
According to the ACSI data, life insurance satisfaction improved by 1.3 percent to 79 out of 100 points. As for specific life insurers, Northwestern Mutual and New York Life insurance companies rose 4 percent to 81 and 80, respectively in satisfaction.
Overall customer satisfaction has dropped a tiny bit to 75.9 percent for the quarter but show that customers are relatively happy with all of the services they received at the end of 2009.
The reason that it’s important to keep up with life insurance satisfaction information, as well as which life insurers are receiving nods is because it shows that not only is the industry as a whole doing a good job, but you can gain an idea of which companies to work with you you’re looking to choose a life insurance company.
If you don’t already have a life insurance policy, now is the time to begin the process of searching for coverage that could benefit your family in the long run.
