Massachusetts Insurer Looking for Applicants Nationwide for Free Life Insurance Program
A Massachusetts life insurer is looking for applicants to take advantage of its current offer of free life insurance. The LifeBridge program, created by MassMutual Financial Group, has been providing low-income families nationwide with free coverage for a decade and is now seeking individuals and families who are in need to take advantage of its current offer.
MassMutual Financial Group’s LifeBridge Program
LifeBridge is a program offered by MassMutual Financial Group,  which offers a free life insurance policy to eligible parents in hopes of providing educational opportunities to their children in case they pass away prematurely.
The program offers parents a free, $50,000 ten-year life insurance policy that serves as a trust for their children. The policy is meant specifically for education purposes and includes tuition, fees, books, campus room and board and school loans.
Children have 10 years after a parent or guardian’s death (or until age 35) to use the educational benefit.
Over the past 10 years, the LifeBridge program has granted more than $625 million in free life insurance coverage. It’s ultimate goal is to give away $1 billion, which is why MassMutual is seeking more applicants today.
